PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, today announced two key appointments that strengthen its senior team, and position the organization for continued growth, operational efficiency and expanded partnerships.
Amber Shaverdi Huston Appointed Chief Operating Officer
Amber Shaverdi Huston, CAE, will join PRSA as chief operating officer on September 2. Huston has more than 15 years of association management expertise and has a proven record of driving operational excellence and organizational transformation.
Most recently, Huston served as executive director of the National Association for Campus Activities, where she led the successful implementation of a new financial infrastructure and other initiatives to advance the organization. She previously served as COO of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity & Foundation, where she oversaw operations to support significant growth in membership, chapters, revenue and staff.
Huston earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Pittsburg State University and a master’s in student development theory. She also holds the Certified Association Executive designation from ASAE. Huston resides in Columbia, S.C.
Alexandre Bouché Named Vice President of Business Development & Alliances
PRSA also announced the appointment of Alexandre Bouché as vice president of business development & alliances, effective September 15. In this role, Bouché will focus on advancing PRSA’s strategic growth initiatives, strengthening partnerships and diversifying revenue streams.
Bouché joins PRSA from the International City/County Management Association, where he served as managing director, global development & engagement. He also held senior roles in global business development and market research at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
He received an Executive MBA from Georgetown University, a master’s in instructional design from The George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Institute of Chemical Engineering in Moscow. Bouché resides in Miami.
